The service
What is Tconsulta?
Tconsulta is an online psychological support platform. It offers video consultations with professional psychologists to put difficulty into words and understand it, share worries, build resilience and activate personal resources.
The platform also carries articles on wellbeing, self-assessment tools and video exercises. Anyone who wants to continue can access an ongoing psychotherapy pathway.
Why should I use Tconsulta?
Because asking for help should be simple. Three in four workers describe their day as marked by anxiety and stress, but months usually pass between recognising it and finding an available specialist.
Tconsulta shortens that gap: a network of selected psychologists, immediate booking, and technology that stays out of the way.
How do consultations work?
Online, directly through the platform. Each session lasts about 50 minutes. You get confirmation and reminders by email and in-platform before the appointment.
What if I miss an appointment or need to cancel at the last minute?
You can reschedule or cancel up to 2 hours before the start. Later cancellations are deducted from your available balance.
What counts as a psychological consultation?
Tconsulta provides short-term consultations grounded in evidence-based principles. Research shows that bounded interventions, in the range of 3-5 sessions, are effective for anxiety, insomnia and low motivation.
The professionals
Psychologist, counsellor or coach?
The difference is substantial and worth being explicit about. In Italy, counsellor and coach are not regulated professions: anyone can use the titles.
A psychologist cannot. It requires a degree in Psychology, a supervised year of practice and mandatory registration with the regional Albo. Every psychologist at Tconsulta has at least 3 years of clinical interview experience.
How do I choose the right psychologist?
An initial questionnaire helps the platform propose the professionals who fit, accounting for specialisation, areas of intervention, gender preference, availability and language.
Privacy, data and cost
Will my employer or a colleague know I use Tconsulta?
Absolutely not. Confidentiality is guaranteed by the informed consent signed at the start. The company receives only aggregated, anonymous usage data, never information traceable to a person.
Can Tconsulta access personal information on my device?
No. Access is limited to camera, microphone and photo library, and only for the duration of video calls.
How is data stored and protected?
Information is encrypted both when stored and while in transit on the platform.
What does Tconsulta cost?
For companies, the annual cost depends on the number of consultations and enabled employees. Request a quote and we will come back with a proposal.
For individuals the subscription is €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year, with the first month free and cancellable at any time. The first consultation is free; subsequent ones cost €37.50 per session.

Self-assessment tools
What self-assessment tools does the platform include?
The platform includes the PGWBI, the Psychological General Well-Being Index, a validated instrument measuring psychological wellbeing on a 0 to 10 scale. It can be repeated after three sessions to track progress.
How do I interpret the results?
Your score is compared against the Italian reference population and placed in a high, medium or low band.
How were the tests developed?
They are instruments already widely used in the scientific community, developed by international psychology researchers and translated and validated in Italian.
What are the self-assessment tools for?
To track how your wellbeing changes over time and to understand which areas may need more work.
